Egg-citing news coming after Easter!

Our Luck Lane Reception teachers are egg-cited to announce the arrival of our Living Eggs during the first week back after the Easter Holidays!

Living Eggs is a special programme where children can learn about the life cycle of a chicken. This experience provides lots of opportunities to learn many things about chickens – their life cycle, what they eat and drink, what they look like, where they live and much more.

Keep checking our website daily to watch their progress.

Our children are intrigued by the dragon caught playing in Luck Lane’s playground!

Beech Primary World Book Day 7th March – Dress as your favourite character

We are delighted to inform you that Beech Primary will be taking part in World Book Day on Thursday 7th March 2019.

All children are invited to dress up as their favourite character from a book.  This can be a purchased fancy dress costume or a homemade costume, for example a pocket watch and playing cards on the front of a t-shirt could represent Alice in Wonderland. Alternatively, children could bring an object in as a clue to their favourite book character. On the day children will have the chance to show off their costumes in a parade where there will be prizes awarded.

Throughout the day, children will take part in fun activities based on poetry and classes will be given a challenge to learn a poem which they will perform in assembly at the end of the day.
